The Book Of Malachi Lsn # 13, 'The Sun Of Righteousness Shines Ever Brightly'
There will be no Millenium until Jesus Christ appears in glorious fashion because He must first
cause the destruction of all who have refused His claims in the Baptism of fire, purging the scene
for the establishing of His kingdom.
The day spoken of here is certainly one of the most important ones as it’s called The Day of the
LORD and it’s the time of the wrath of the Lamb revealed in the New Testament.
Everything between our Lord’s ascension and His Second Advent is designed to end the
intensified stage of the angelic dispute because Jesus is then relaxing with His Father because
the moment He arrived in the Third Heaven, His Father said: “Sit at My right Hand until I make
Your enemies Your footstool.”
This is a judgement for unbelievers only; all the arrogant are unbelievers whose pride is involved
in the fact that they have relied upon their human good as the basis for their feeble attempt for
salvation and fleshly-motivated human good doesn’t stand the scrutiny of an evaluation by the
Lord Jesus Christ, the Righteous Judge.
Those who revere the Name of the Lord have a blessed portion assigned to them and there’ll be
NO ferocious heat of the furnace for them; only the gentle warmth of the Sun of Righteousness
with healing in His rays so, He Who is an oven to the wicked is like the dawning morning sun to
the righteous!
If the Lord Jesus had been accepted at His First Advent, then Elijah would have been His herald!
John as the herald of the First Advent, had the same Holy Spirit endued power that Elijah will
have as the herald of the Second Advent.
If they had only received John’s message regarding their King (but they did not); then the
Kingdom would have come during the First Advent and Elijah would have been the herald and
not John the Baptist.
It’s a great day for those who are saved because they go into the Millenium with the Lord and
it’s a dreadful day for those who are unsaved because they go into the Baptism of fire alone.
The purpose of evangelism in the Tribulation is to avoid the curse, the cherem and we’ll have the
greatest period of evangelism in all of human history in just seven years of concentrated, intense
unbearable trial.
Malachi’s message is basically to the priests who should have been the spiritual leaders in
righteous living and it’s also to the people who followed the priest’s lead in dishonoring and
neglecting God.
The Old Testament closed with the word curse and the New Testament closes with a blessing:
“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”
Only through their Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ, can Israel escape this dreadful curse.
